No Change

everyday I wake-up looking for some kind of change

in the way that people act not showing trust only pain

(and)

everyday the man on the t.v. says, ” the grass is getting so much greener”

but all i see is nothing but, doves telling me i’m not sane

i want to kill

i need to feel

everyday that you wake-up in this blank look society

looking for peace and comfort, away from all the stresses of the day

(and)

the people yell,” don’t step out of line”, for you might be found out

everyday becomes the same as yesterday’s day (can’t you see)

you want to kill

you need to feel

everyday that man steps on one another feeling shame

(and)

people say,” it’s for the better”, who’s to know, which is which, is butter

the blue meanies push away the green’s youthful care-all thoughts

of the revolution being out with old and in with the new

they want to kill

they need to feel
